Helpful Information

Billing & Insurance

Currently Communicating Confidently is private pay only; I do not accept insurance. This allows me to focus 100% of my time on service to my clients and allows me the opportunity to create and deliver high-quality speech therapy services. An added bonus is that all decisions remain between the client and therapist. We don’t need to wait for prior authorization, need to justify medical necessity, nor plan breaks due to meeting number of allowed visits, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you accept insurance?

  • Do I need to be in the therapy session with my child?

Whenever possible, it is helpful to have a parent or caregiver present. When children are seen in daycare, home program information will be provided on a HIPPA compliant platform. If your child is seen virtually, you do not need to be present (however it’s helpful to be nearby, so I can go over what they practiced at the end of the session.)

  • Where do you do therapy?

I will travel within 5 miles of Eau Claire for in- person therapy. I can see children at home, daycare, or a community site (like the library). I serve children virtually in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

I can accept credit, debit, and cash.
